Seven Gates Designs iron on embroidery transfer – Celtic Cross

Description: One single-impression, iron-on, permanent, embroidery transfer in silver metallic ink. The ink shows as dark on light coloured fabrics and light on dark fabrics

Suitable for: Transferring onto most fabrics. Care needs to be taken with synthetic fabrics. Place a sheet of paper or a cotton cloth under the face of the iron to protect the fabric if the iron is extending beyond the edges of the transfer

Transferring Method: Place the transfer face down on the right side of the fabric and pin securely in place. Heat iron to as high a temperature as will be tolerated by the fabric. Press iron firmly on the back of the transfer taking care not to cause any movement as this will cause blurring of the transfer lines. Avoid ironing over the pins. Hold the iron in place for a few seconds. Repeat over the full area of the transfer. Allow to cool. Remove pins and peel transfer off carefully.

Care: Store in a cool, dry environment and protect from light

Note: It is easy to trim down a transfer to suit your project or to cut out only the part needed, e.g. an emblem in the middle of a design
